Drainage Solutions

Standing water, runoff and erosion, solved properly at the source. Essential on sloped and lakefront lots.

What it covers

Standing water, runoff and erosion, solved at the source rather than moved somewhere else. That usually means a combination of regrading, routing downspouts properly, and putting in French drains or dry wells where water needs somewhere to collect.

Drainage work is only finished when the ground looks as though nothing happened. Turf, beds and edges go back the way they should be.

Where it makes the most difference

Sloped and lakefront lots, properties where the same patch of lawn dies every year, and any house with damp at the foundation after heavy rain.

How we work

01 — Survey

Ideally after rain, so we can see where water actually travels rather than where it should.

02 — Drainage plan

A written plan covering grading, drains and downspouts, with a quote before anything is dug.

03 — Install and reinstate

The work goes in, then turf and beds are put back so the property looks untouched.

Common questions

How do I know if I have a drainage problem?

Water still standing a day after rain, moss in the lawn, mulch washing out of beds, or damp at the foundation are the four most common signs.

Will it disrupt the lawn?

Temporarily. Trenches are reinstated with fresh sod or seed as part of the job, not as an extra.
