Landscaping built on personal ownership

Mitchell first began working in landscaping in the Lake Norman area in 2003. After building experience in sales, operations and customer service, he returned to the industry with a clearer idea of what a landscaping company should provide: thoughtful work, straightforward communication and genuine accountability.

That idea became Buena Vista.

Every project is owner-led, with Mitchell personally involved in the planning, communication and final quality review. Clients have one accountable point of contact who understands the property, knows the plan and remains involved from the first conversation through completion.

We intentionally serve a focused area around Lake Norman. Staying local allows us to remain responsive, protect the quality of our work and build lasting relationships with the homeowners we serve.

How we work

We begin by walking the property with you and understanding what is working, what is not and how you would like to use the space.

From there, we provide a clear scope of work and written proposal before anything begins. Once approved, we communicate the schedule, complete the work carefully and keep you informed along the way. When the project is finished, we walk it with you to make sure the details have been handled properly.

What you can expect

We take on work that fits our capabilities and allows us to maintain our standards. We provide honest recommendations, clear pricing and realistic expectations from the beginning.

If conditions change or something unexpected is uncovered, you will hear from us before the scope or price changes. If a project falls outside what we do well, we will tell you honestly and help point you in the right direction.
